Two years ago, our software engineers and supply chain experts developed advanced software to calculate more accurate ship dates. Control Tower uses intuitive algorithms to analyze dozens of constantly changing factors. It takes into account lead time from suppliers, historical lead times, inventory, historical demand, and industry forecasting. We can predict ship dates with a high degree of accuracy. This means you get an expected delivery date as soon as you place an order and can count on that date.
We Find Ways To Work Around Disruptions
Because Control Tower analyzes evolving factors, we can take a proactive approach to problems. If your delivery date gets delayed, our purchasing, engineering, and project coordinator teams work together to give you alternate solutions.
Let’s say a customer orders a replacement pump. Our system immediately gives an acknowledgment date of eight weeks from now. The problem is, they need this replacement pump now because one of their production lines is down. They call our office and explain what’s going on. Now that we know the details, we can work on a solution. Our team comes up with a few different options. We can source the pump from a different supplier or reconfigure the system with a different pump altogether. The customer may pay more upfront, but it may be a worthwhile investment compared to losing money with a production line down. In this scenario, we would help the customer source a few extra components to have on the shelf so they won’t have as many headaches if this happens again.
