Transair Compressed Air Piping Options
Aluminum Piping
Transair aluminum piping is available in ½”, 1”, 1-½”, 2”, 2-½”, 3”, 4”, 6”, and 8” diameters. Aluminum is designed for applications using compressed air, vacuum, and inert gases.
Transair products have a few different quick-connect styles for aluminum depending on the pipe’s diameter. Smaller sizes use an innovative “push-to-connect” concept. All you have to do is push the pipe into the fitting until it lines up with the depth mark on the pipe. A grip ring engages and prevents the pipe from sliding out of the fitting. Larger diameters use snap rings, clamshell fittings, and groove fittings.
No matter the connection style, each is straightforward to install and does not require specialized tools or labor. Other accessories like drop brackets, valves, wall brackets, pipe hangers, flexible hoses, and safety couplers make design and installation straightforward.
Stainless Steel Piping
For applications where you need superior environmental protection and increased corrosion resistance, Transair stainless steel piping is the solution for you. It’s available in ¾”, 1”, 1-½”, 2”, 3”, and 4” diameters and is designed for compressed air, vacuum, inert gas, process water, and chemical transfer applications.
Stainless steel compressed air piping systems have three connection styles: push-to-connect for smaller diameters and clamp ring or clamshell fittings for larger diameters. Each style is considered a “quick connect” and balances ease of installation and safety.
Straightforward Installation, Reliably Clean Air
Building out a Transair compressed air solution is 4x faster than traditional methods using copper and black iron. No need to rent special equipment or worry about threading, soldering, or gluing pipes. Quick connect fittings and easy layout modifications mean you can get in and get the job done more efficiently. Labor cost savings are a big advantage when bidding on new projects. Save your customers weeks of installation time while still delivering a reliable and long-lasting solution.
Not only do customers benefit from faster installation times, but they also get a lightweight, corrosion-resistant system for reliable clean air. Transair products are silicone-free and will not contaminate air systems like traditional piping systems. Transair fittings and accessories ensure the systems are easy to modify or upgrade, making them perfect for new construction or expansion projects.
