A couple weeks ago we had the opportunity to be an exhibitor in the Advanced Manufacturing Expo. The expo is a gathering of manufacturing innovators and automation experts to network and grow West Michigan’s Advanced Manufacturing industry. This year the event garnered enough interest that it was able to expand to an additional location in metro Detroit.
The founder of the event, Mark Ermatinger states, “The automation hall has demos on-hand of new collaborative robots, autonomous robots, as well as virtual reality. The exhibitor line up is very diverse covering every aspect and department of manufacturing.”
The event is free to the public. For individuals looking to learn a little bit more about automation, looking for the next tool to take your business to the next level, or just to network, this is an incredible opportunity. The connections we made at the event are invaluable and we are already working on our plans for next year’s event.
The event also gives students a chance to see where a career in manufacturing could take them. One special exhibit was dedicated to the First Robotics West Ottawa team. Students were able to show off their hard work and dedication in their robotic display. This expo has something for everyone, as a company that is dedicated to expanding jobs in west Michigan and passionate about helping students who are interested in manufacturing and automation, we cannot recommend this event enough. MFP was honored to participate in such an advanced event boasting great technology and capabilities. Stay tuned for what we will have on display next year and be sure to stop by and say hello!
