Michigan Fluid Power originated in April of 1991. The corporation was formed by  Roger L. Betten Sr. - CEO, David M. Grimm - President, Rodney R. Kowalski - Vice President Operations.  Roger Betten Jr. - Vice President Sales joined the company one year later. All the owners are still active in the corporation and represent over 75 years in the fluid power industry.

Michigan Fluid Power represents and holds the franchise from three major manufacturers.

Michigan Fluid Power's focus remains dedicated to the fluid power industry. MFP's facility of 20,000 SQ. FT. includes hydraulic power unit fabrication, machine shop and inventories in excess of $1,000,000.00.

Turn key design and manufacturing of manifolds (Hydraulic - Pneumatic) are supported by AutoCAD 2004 (Mechanical Desktop) software and Inventor software.  MFP also has CNC vertical machining centers ranging from 5 spindle horsepower to 25 spindle horsepower.

The engineering department is represented by certified fluid power specialists totaling more than 50 years experience.

Michigan Fluid power has grown to 40 plus employees, currently highly rated by  DUNN & BRADSTREET and the recipient of 1999 SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR by the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.
